Agents of the National Police in Jerez de la Frontera (Cádiz) have dismantled, within the so-called 'Operation Integrity', a criminal group composed of three men allegedly organized to commit robberies with violence and intimidation against victims with whom they contacted through Contact applications for men of homosexual orientation.

As explained by the National Police in a note, the investigation began after complaints practically simultaneous in time from two men with no relationship between them. Both stated that they had been victims of violent robbery by several individuals who, armed with large knives, had forced them to hand over all their money and valuables.

In the first of the events, it occurred in the victim's own home, when the victim opened access to his home to what he believed was the person he had met on the Internet, two other men who were accomplices of the first and who were hiding in the room broke in. The sides of the door frame, both with their faces covered, brandishing knives and with a very violent attitude, looted the victim and the entire interior of the house.

The second victim was assaulted in the house where the appointment had been made, and was also forced at knifepoint to lead his three assailants to his own apartment to seize more valuables.

The immediate investigation that was initiated by the national police managed to identify the three involved, all of them were located in three different locations in the city of Jerez, carrying out the simultaneous arrest within the device that was established for this purpose. One of them, upon seeing himself surrounded by the officers, tried to evade police action by fleeing over the roofs of the adjacent homes armed with a kitchen knife.

Finally, he was surrounded on the roofs by agents of the citizen security units that supported the members of the judicial police and ordered him to drop the weapon using the taser that the National Police agents already have. Thus, he dropped the weapon and abandoned his attitude without the agents being forced to use the electric immobilizer.

The three were arrested as alleged perpetrators of the crimes of robbery with violence and illegal detention, and were transferred to the National Police Station, where once the police report was completed, they were placed at the disposal of the Judicial Authority who, after hearing them in testimony, he decreed for the two main perpetrators their immediate imprisonment and conditional release with precautionary measures for the third, who had collaborated as an accomplice in one of the crimes.
