Green prevails in central Catalonia

The drought persists, despite the recent rains that have watered the landscape a bit, but there are areas of central Catalonia where the spring green bucolicism not only resists the lack of water, but also shines with a resistant pride that amazes.

We can see it in this series of photographs in Las Fotos de los Lectores de La Vanguardia, which shows how there are areas of Berguedà, Osona and La Garrotxa that are coping with the drought.

One of these places is the Pla de la Coromina de Falgars, where the natural greenery of spring shines with splendor while the grazing cattle give a most bucolic touch to the beautiful landscape.

The Sierra de Falgars is located in the municipality of La Pobla de Lillet, with a maximum elevation of 1,287 meters. Its landscape allows you to enjoy nature without the excessive trace of drought.

Where it still looks like it hasn't rained enough is in Salt del Mir, although its surroundings look green. It is a beautiful waterfall 35 meters high located in an extraordinary natural setting in the Osona region, where you can breathe calm in the middle of nature.

El Salt del Mir is located in the Bellmunt mountain range, between Vidrà and Santa Maria de Besora, across from the counties of Ripollès and Osona.

The meadows of Osona and La Garrotxa, where the multicolored natural carpets of the Vall d'en Bas stand out, are also withstanding the persistent drought better than other parts of Catalonia.

In these images of the Bassora landscape we also see how green bucolicism prevails beyond the days without rain.
