Dr. Gabriel Serrano celebrated his 74th birthday first in Bayahíbe, in the Dominican Republic, where he had just inaugurated a clinic, and the next day in Barranquilla, where he had to participate in the annual sales convention of the Colombian subsidiary of SESDERMA, the dermatological laboratories he founded in Valencia almost 40 years ago and which today are present in more than 80 countries on four continents.
In the last 12 months, this prestigious dermatologist, researcher, and businessman has traveled around the world more than 7 times, having traveled more than 300,000 kilometers, taken 162 flights, visited 15 countries, and rarely spent a week at home, sleeping a total of 240 nights in 27 hotels. At the end of some of these trips were the inauguration of the new clinic in the Dubai Mall, the largest shopping center in the world, or the Panama hub, the logistics node that has to improve the distribution of made in Valencia products throughout Latin America, the US and Canada.
Nanopore, Valencian technology to conquer America
Dr. Serrano will focus his intervention on Nanopore, which is a family of devices that use different collagen induction techniques such as micropuncture, radiofrequency or plasma therapy. SESDERMA has been researching and improving these devices and has achieved truly magnificent results, since they are considered "formula 1" among their competitors. One of the reasons for this merit is that while other devices incorporate a 6-watt motor, those manufactured by the MEDIDERMA division of laboratories offer twice the power, 12 watts, thus achieving much better results when microneedling the skin.
Sharing knowledge to improve skin health around the world

A few months ago he gave an intensive training course to more than 20 renowned dermatologists and plastic surgeons from Romania who are considered in their country as "the elite" in this specialty.
