Gisela is discharged from the hospital after the scare in the middle of her pregnancy: "I wouldn't wish it on anyone"

Last weekend, the singer Gisela set off all the alarms among her followers by announcing through her social networks that she was in the hospital, where she had been admitted. The singer tried to send a reassuring message, explaining that it was renal colic due to a stone in her kidney; but that it had been complicated due to her advanced stage of pregnancy.

The singer, 44, is in the fifth month of pregnancy with what will be her first child. A factor to be taken into account by doctors, since she could not take medication like any other patient. Luckily, after a lot of pain and medical care, the singer has been discharged from the hospital.

Very smiling, the artist was intercepted by the press who were waiting for her at the door of the Dexeus University Hospital in Barcelona, where she has been admitted for several days. The Catalan woman, accompanied at all times by her partner, José Ángel Ortega, explained that they had been “very hard” days on all levels. “Above all, because of the fear of what she could happen to the bun,” as she affectionately calls her baby.

Gisela also explained that the renal colic was indeed caused by a kidney stone, but the concern arose because an infection could have occurred for which she would not have been able to take medication and even she and her baby could have died. She has now been discharged from the hospital, but she will have to remain under medical supervision until the end of her pregnancy.

“I have spent three days that I do not wish on anyone,” said the artist, “It is an inhuman pain.”

From now on, Gisela will have to take everything more calmly, so her professional commitments will have to be looked at with a magnifying glass and depending on how her state of health evolves. Her priority is her baby and herself, and her partner and her family will ensure this, always with her for anything she might need.

“I'm super happy to be back home. Now I have to rest. Like at home, nowhere,” said Gisela through her Instagram Stories, taking the opportunity to thank the number of messages of love and support received.

The singer announced last November that she was finally going to fulfill her dream of becoming a mother, after more than five years of trying in a long and complicated process. At 44 years old, the artist recognized that she had suffered two miscarriages, so since she had seen her positive pregnancy test result, her care was extreme in case something could go wrong at some point.

Renal colic has nothing to do with prenatal health, but the singer couldn't help but feel downcast. However, now she can be seen smiling and much calmer again, after having overcome this painful health setback.
