The Galapagar City Council will offer its neighbors a workshop on social networks, with the aim of raising awareness and expressing the dangers they entail and the existing risks in both the emotional, social and security spheres.
The City Council has highlighted, in a statement, that this workshop, aimed at adults, is free and will take place on October 23, 25 and 30, as well as on November 6 and 8 at the Ricardo León municipal library.
This is a complete workshop organized by the Family and Equality area, under the Equality Agreement signed with the General Directorate of Equality of the Community of Madrid, as stated by the City Council.
Under the name 'The dangers of social networks', the workshop will explain the risks that arise from social networks and will provide tools, channels and supports essentially dedicated to the proper use of information.
To do this, the gender perspective and all the inequality that is generated between men and women through, above all, social networks will be taken into account.
