From the super-timbered bike to the tuned cactus... In La Vanguardia's Readers' Photos we can see a summary of ten curious images, of complaints or with a message collected this week in The Reader's Mailbox.

I came across this bicycle adorned with bells in the Gràcia neighborhood of Barcelona.

I have titled this photograph: Go towards the light...

During my visit to the Gothic quarter of Barcelona, I was surprised that, in such a beautiful and central area, they had placed such ordinary flower pots that I have not seen in other cities I have visited.

I guess it must be a cost problem, because these plastic pots are the ones that come from the nursery with the plants.

I trust that now with the change of mayor, at least those in central areas can be improved.

This Sarrià de Ter bridge is where the entrance to Girona used to come from. The old one of medieval origin was blown up on February 4, 1939 by soldiers of the Republican army in their retreat towards France during the Spanish Civil War and was located in the place where the Via Augusta created the Ter. A plaque commemorates a terrible accident that happened at this place.

Beach lifeguard in February, in Tarragona. Time to think and observe, for now, little stressful work, as it should be in other times of high season.

Walking through Puigcerdà, I suddenly see this plaque very well placed and quite shiny. And it comes to mind how this institution has changed since its constitution until today. But for the nostalgic, it was a joy to see the initial name of what is today called CaixaBank written in molds. As time goes!

I captured this photograph walking through the old town of Barcelona.

In this photograph taken in the capital of Madrid you can see how in the most adverse conditions, on a city wall, nature clings to life in an exercise of resilience.

Prehistoric uncivil art. It is a shame that, despite the effort to elevate everyone's culture, a few are dedicated to soiling our common identity. This image is enough, at the doors of the Can Framis Museum in Barcelona, where the headquarters of the Vila Casas Foundation is located. Disastrous business card for those who visit us.

On the side of the road that connects Terrassa with Viladecavalls we can contemplate this work of "conceptual art" if you can call it that and it is certainly not necessary to put up the "do not touch" sign.
