Several people have been detained by the Mossos d'Esquadra due to their alleged relationship with the death of a man whose body was found on March 9 in the trunk of a van in Barcelona.
As confirmed to EFE by sources close to the investigation, the body was found last Thursday night at the intersection between Via Augusta and Diagonal in Barcelona, after which the Criminal Investigation Division of the Catalan police took over the case. , in which the secrecy of the proceedings has been decreed and for which several people have been arrested so far.
The digital portal El Principal details that the Mossos followed a vehicle in which three men were traveling that night in the Catalan capital, stopped it and found the body in the trunk. An autopsy is pending to determine the cause of death.
