Foment and Pimec agree on a joint list for the Chamber of Commerce elections

The Catalan employers' associations Foment del Treball and Pimec have agreed to present a "unitary employer list" for the upcoming elections to the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, as they announced this Wednesday in a statement. Each organization proposes three members that will determine who are the 6 representatives that are part of the plenary session of the Chamber, according to the regulations that apply in the electoral process for the renewal of government bodies.

On behalf of Foment del Treball, the list will include Anna Cornadó, managing director of Copisa; Ignasi Marull, partner-director of PWC; and Eloi Planes, CEO of Fluidra. On the side of Pimec, Emma Gumbert, partner-founder of Emma Gumbert, will form part of the candidacy; Martina Font, corporate director of Font Packaging Group; and Miquel Martí, president and CEO of Moventia.

In principle, the elections will be held in September and will culminate in November with the constitution of the plenary sessions and the election of president in the 13 Catalan chambers. Voting can only be exercised digitally and the decision cannot be delegated.
