Fitur 2024: Schedule of the tourism fair in Madrid and how to get to Ifema

The international tourism fair, Fitur, is held from January 24 to 28 in Madrid. During the weekend the doors will open to the general public, while the rest of the days it is aimed only at professionals in the sector. From the 24th to the 26th, the hours will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., on Saturday the 27th from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Sunday the 28th from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

In its 44th edition, the growth experienced in recent months by the national and international tourism industry will be presented.

9,000 companies, 152 countries and 806 exhibitors will participate in this year's event, which is 7% more than in the last edition, which will display their offer in 9 pavilions at the Madrid fairgrounds, one more than in 2023.

It is estimated that more than 150,000 professionals will pass through Fitur from Wednesday to Friday and some 100,000 general public attendees during the weekend.

The fair will provide the Community of Madrid with some 430 million in income, which will affect the transport, hotels, restaurants and leisure sectors.

In this edition, Ecuador will be the guest country and sustainability will be the transversal axis of the entire tourist offer and the fair.

To get to Fitur, you can go by metro, whose closest stop on line 8 is Feria de Madrid and is very close to the south entrance of the venue; By taxi there are three stops whose access has a supplement of 3 euros and by bus they arrive on line 73, from Diego de León, line 112, from Mar de Cristal, line 122, from Avenida de América and line 828 from the University Autonomous, in Alcobendas. By private car it can be accessed via the M-11 (exits 5 and 7), M 40 (exits 5, 6 and 7) and A2, exit 7.
