Firefighters from the Generalitat de Catalunya work to extinguish a declared forest fire in the Tarragona towns of Vendellòs and l'Hospitalet de l'Infant, very close to the C-44. "It is a small fire that broke out and was put out during the morning and that has been revived," according to what the emergency department has explained to the press.
At the moment, 19 Fire Departments have been mobilized, five of them air - a bomber helicopter, a command helicopter and two surveillance and attack planes. These units are attacking the left flank of the fire, located between Los Masets and Coll de Mirto. As reported by Bomers, the main line of fire is not advancing, but it is kept under surveillance in case it causes secondary outbreaks.
The forest and agricultural fire is burning in the same area where it originated at 9:00 a.m. this Wednesday and that the Fire Department had considered controlled. At around 5:15 p.m., the emergency department reported that it would be the same fire, revived.
