Espanyol and the sections seek the path of recognition

Espanyol and the Seccions Deportives Espanyol have been the closest thing to a dialogue table to start a cooperation that benefits both. This Thursday Mao Ye and Arnau Baqué, representatives of both estates, met at the RCDE Stadium and the first agreement reached is that there will be a second meeting, which is not a short time after a year and a half without rapprochement.

SD Espanyol's interest is recognition by the club without having to become supporters clubs, something that would be to the liking of the entity's leaders. For now, they are not closed to reaching an understanding and both do their part so that the initiative comes to fruition.

In this sense, the club has informed in a statement of the meeting held meeting "with the desire to resume contact and talk with empathy and transparency about possible collaboration scenarios." Meeting that has ended "with the mutual commitment to hold a second meeting in which to specify collaborative actions".

The club reports that progress has been made on different "collaboration ideas that must be worked on and specified in a second meeting to be held in the near future". This approach responds to the club's interest in lowering the spirits of the fans and "making an approach to the different social agents that contribute decisively to the spread of parakeet sentiment", he concludes.
