Dani Ceballos renews with Real Madrid until 2027

Real Madrid announced this morning the renewal of Dani Ceballos, whose contract ended on June 30 and has been extended until 2027, for another four seasons. With this there are already three renewals announced this week after those of Toni Kroos and Nacho Fernández. That of Luka Modric remains, which is expected for the next few hours.

At 26 years old, he turns 27 on August 7, Ceballos signed for Real Madrid in the summer of 2017 from Betis. After two seasons without going into Zidane's plans much, he was loaned two seasons to Arsenal. He returned to Real Madrid in the 2021-22 season and has continued without getting a starting position in the team now coached by Carlo Ancelotti these last two seasons, the first marked by a major injury that he sustained with the Olympic team.

Born in Utrera (Seville), the player has defended the Real Madrid shirt in 120 games between the four seasons he has been at the white club, in which he has won 11 titles: 2 European Cups, 3 Club World Cups, 2 European Super Cups, 1 League, 1 Copa del Rey and 2 Spanish Super Cups.

Ceballos had an offer to return to Betis for some time, but it has not convinced him. He has preferred to continue at the Bernabéu despite the competition he will have next season in a midfield with Modric, Kroos, Bellingham, Camavinga, Tchouaméni and Brahim Diaz.
