Cuban Julito Padrón debuts at the Mas i Mas Festival

Julito Padrón debuts on Friday at the Jamboree (7:00-9:00 p.m.), within the framework of the Mas i Mas Festival, with his proposal Cuban Feeling, with which he explores the links between Cuban music and the great jazz masters. It is precisely from them that he nurtures his music, since he has never hidden his admiration for idols such as Charlie Parker, Miles Davis, Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, Clifford Brown and Bill Evans.

Considered one of the best trumpet players in Cuba, Padrón has played for many years with Chucho Valdés in Irakere. Currently, he is part of the Interactive band and these days he is in Spain with a performance that has jazz as its axis.

On the other hand, on Saturday the Jamboree will also feature a performance by Albert Bover, who will perform alone at the piano due to the loss of voice of the singer Mariola Membrives. However, the organization recalls that this new show format is the one with which the Catalan pianist stands out the most.

Special mention also goes to guitarist Pere Soto and his Gypsy Quartet, whose performance will be on Sunday.
