Closer to heaven in Tavertet

Tavertet is located in the Collsacabra area and, from the abysses that surround the town, there are excellent views of the Sau and Susqueda valleys, where many meteorological phenomena are also observed.

When daylight comes, the fog brings us even closer to the sky from the top of the cliffs, as if we were part of the clouds, as can be seen in this series of photographs in Las Fotos de los Lectores de La Vanguardia.

With the fog, in addition, it is a fantastic spectacle. Normally we can see how it goes down towards the Sau Reservoir before dispersing.

Collsacabra is an authentic mid-mountain paradise for hikers, with infinite landscape options, with streams, waterfalls, magical corners and medieval towns.

The fog, also called the Pubilla de la Plana de Vic or broma baixa, is one of the main characteristics of the weather in the Osona region, the area of Spain with the most days a year in which this phenomenon is recorded.
