In Las Fotos de los Lectores de La Vanguardia we can contemplate this perspective of the Besòs river as it passes through Montcada i Reixac and Santa Coloma de Gramanet, with its two bridges, from Santa Coloma and Potosí.
Today the Parc Fluvial del Besòs is a space located along the last 9 km of the Besòs river bed, from the confluence with the Ripoll river to its mouth into the Mediterranean Sea.
With a total area of 115 hectares, it is one of the most important green spaces in the metropolitan region of Barcelona and forms part of the urban continuum of the cities of Barcelona, Santa Coloma de Gramanet, Sant Adrià de Besòs and Montcada i Reixac. To guarantee communications on both sides of the river, its bridges are vital.
In Montcada and Reixac, there is a circular route connected to the Casa de les Aigües. The river can be crossed by the pedestrian walkway or by the Montcada bridge.
In Santa Coloma de Gramenet, the bike path runs through the fluvial park on the left bank of the river (in the direction of the water). And in Sant Adrià de Besòs, an itinerary allows you to observe this whole area from its viewpoints: the Parc del Litoral, the Parc de la Pau and the Puente de Maristany.
