Bob Dylan returns to Spain with a 12-concert tour for 2023

The American musician Bob Dylan, Nobel Prize for Literature for the lyrics of his songs, will perform in Spain next June in a total of 12 concerts distributed in eight cities in our country.

Bob Dylan returns to Spain with a 12-concert tour for 2023

The American musician Bob Dylan, Nobel Prize for Literature for the lyrics of his songs, will perform in Spain next June in a total of 12 concerts distributed in eight cities in our country.

Robert Allen Zimmerman, 81, began his world tour 'Rough and rowdy ways', focused on his thirty-ninth studio album, on November 2, 2021 in Milwaukee (Wisconsin) and intends to extend it until 2024, but before returning to Spain to display his artistic talents.

The first city that will host the singer will be Madrid and it will do so in the form of a double, hosting the singer on June 7 and 8 as part of the Noches del Botánico Festival. Then he will visit Andalusia and go to Seville, where he will be at FIBES on the 10th and 11th, and then he will visit the city of Granada (June 13) to perform at the Teatro del Generalife. The Alicante bullring will receive him on the 15th and two days later, on the 17th, he will arrive at the bullring in Huesca.

On June 19 and 20, the Kursaal Auditorium will also do a double in San Sebastián and the next day it will offer its repertoire at the Palacio de Deportes de la Rioja. The end of the tour in Spain will be in Barcelona. Specifically, the festival of San Juan will be musical this 2023 in the city of Barcelona. Bob Dylan will give two concerts on June 23 and 24 at the Liceu as part of the Guitar BCN festival.

Tickets for all dates will go on sale next Wednesday March 15 at 10 am on the official website through bobdylan.com and riffmusic.es.

In order to enjoy the evening to the fullest, the organizers have announced this Friday that the concerts will be 'Phone free show', that is, the use of telephones will be prohibited throughout the show. At the venue, attendees will have at their disposal a closed and secure case that they can carry with them throughout the performance.

The last time the musician performed in our country was in 2019 when he offered eight concerts during the spring on the occasion of his international tour 'Neverending Tour', which started in 1988.

On the current tour, Dylan focuses mainly on the songs from his latest album 'Rough and rowdy ways', released in 2020, and leaves out most of his classics, such as 'Like a rolling stone', 'Blowin' in the wind' or 'All along the watchtower'.
