The Badalona City Council (Barcelonès Nord) through the Department of Urban Discipline has opened an investigation into the works of a residential building in the neighborhood of La Mora, due to neighborhood complaints about noise, vibrations and cracks that appeared in some adjoining floors. After verifying that the complaints were founded, the machinery has been sealed.
The residents, according to Tot Badalona, had informed the Urban Guard of the constant inconvenience they suffered in the construction of a plot of land in the Mora neighborhood where a housing development of the Culmia company is being built. Municipal technicians went to the affected homes and were able to verify with a sound meter that the decibels exceeded the maximum allowed by law.
As a result of the investigations, the agents have proceeded to seal the machinery, a vertical drilling machine, which did not meet the legal requirements and have opened a file against the company awarded the work.
