The president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, suspended her scheduled schedule for this Tuesday on her trip to London for health reasons.
This was announced by the Community of Madrid in a statement, in which it explained that the Minister of Economy, Finance and Employment, Javier Fernández-Lasquetty, will attend the meetings called for this morning.
On Monday night, during an event organized by the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in the United Kingdom, the regional president said at the beginning of her speech that she was not feeling well, so she had to stop her speech and resume it after a break.
On Tuesday morning, the regional Executive announced that Ayuso suspended his agenda for today, so that the Minister of Economy will attend the meetings and will inform in advance when the president recovers her work agenda.
According to the program scheduled for this morning, Ayuso expected to meet with the head of Policy and Resources for the City of London, Chris Hayward, before visiting Wayra UK, an innovation company within the digital sector that works at a European level.
The regional president began a working trip to London on Monday that will end on Wednesday, to promote investment in the region and increase institutional relations with the country.
