Arrested the alleged perpetrator of the murder of the owner of a store in Madrid

The National Police have arrested the robber who allegedly killed the owner of a clothing store yesterday in the Tirso de Molina square and fled on the run with the money, as confirmed by the same police on their Twitter account. At the same time, they have reported that a woman has been arrested allegedly related to these events.

Homicide Group V agents believe that the victim, Concha, 61 years old and owner of the haberdashery, resisted the robbery and for that reason received several stab wounds that cost her death. According to several witnesses, the assailant left with his bloody shirt fleeing in the direction of Antón Martín street.

The Police have based their investigation by talking to several witnesses, who assured that the individual was tall and thin, and by reviewing the security cameras in the area and in the store itself.

The events occurred around 1:30 p.m. this Monday inside a neighborhood store dedicated to the sale of clothing called 'Vistebien' located at number 4 of the aforementioned square, located in the center of the capital.

A notice alerted 091 to the presence of a woman with several stab wounds to the abdomen in the aforementioned place. When the police officers arrived at the premises, the woman was in cardiorespiratory arrest and was bleeding profusely.

The agents began cardiopulmonary maneuvers until the arrival of the health indicative. Once at the establishment, the Samur-Civil Protection toilets continued with the work, although in the end they were only able to certify the death.

Concha had several stab wounds. In a first inspection, the police officers did not locate the weapon used in the stabbing, which they searched through the trash cans and containers in the area. This is the third homicide, all three of women, registered yesterday Monday in Madrid.

The victim's husband and his two children came to the scene, as well as other friends and colleagues, who were deeply dismayed by what had happened. Also many neighbors, who gathered spontaneously to denounce the insecurity of the area.
