The April Fair, the Fallas and the Sanfermines are some of the most emblematic festivities in Spain, attracting crowds of both national and international tourists each year. These celebrations, characterized by their unique folklore and deep-rooted traditions, are a true spectacle of culture and fun that captivates visitors from all over the world.

Regarding the April Fair, the data released by the City Council after the conclusion of the 2023 edition revealed a resounding success in terms of attendance and participation. With a total of 1,173,571 travelers using the Tussam lines that provide service to Real, there is an increase of 14% compared to 2022.

The lines with the greatest demand stood out especially, such as the San Sebastián-Feria Prado Shuttle, which experienced an increase of 20.4%, and the Circular C1 and C2, with increases of 13.7 and 15.8% respectively. In addition, the number of carriages reached 4,663, 6% more than in 2022, and the Seville Metro system exceeded one million users, 12% more than the previous year.

On the other hand, the Fallas have also left record numbers in their last edition. With a 20% increase in the turnover of hospitality businesses compared to the previous year, and attendance multiplied by six at the Tourist Office, these festivities have generated a great economic and social impact in the city.

The mayor highlights the care taken in every detail by the government team, which has contributed to the success of the Fallas and the increase in both local and foreign visitors.

Finally, the Sanfermines of Pamplona broke participation and attendance records in the last edition of 2023. With a total of 1,446,025 people attending the scheduled events, the large attendance at concerts, outings of the Comparsa de Gigantes and Cabezudos stood out especially. , and children's and family activities.

The Fallas are what open the calendar. They took place from March 1 to 19. For its part, the April Fair starts this April 14 and will last until the 20th. Finally, the summer Sanfermines festival will begin on July 6 and end on July 14.
