As reported by the Civil Guard, numerous agents from both forces, canine units and air resources have been deployed in the three provinces, specifically in neighborhoods of Palma de Mallorca, Son Banya on the island of Mallorca, as well as in Barcelona and Tarragona. Also on Torrent de Vallfogona street in the Can Palau urbanization in Sant Cebrià de Vallalta (Maresme). Money and narcotic substances have been seized from the homes.
In Sant Cebrià de Vallalt, the large police deployment has taken the residents by surprise, who claim to not suspect anything of what could be taking place in the home. They report that neither high-end vehicles nor suspicious people were seen and that the vehicles of the detainees, a black Nissan Navarra and a white Mercedes class A 189, did not raise suspicions either.
It so happens that, a few meters from where the intervention took place, the Mossos d'Esquadra dismantled a marijuana plantation and detained several individuals, one of whom was of Argentine nationality.
