An American company that owns a fundraising platform is raffling off a house in Mallorca valued at 3.5 million euros. The proceeds from the raffle will go to research programs against Alzheimer's. This is the Omaze platform, which periodically holds this type of raffle in which only citizens of the United Kingdom can participate, according to Diario de Mallorca.
The promoters announce that all funds raised will go to Alzheimer's Research UK to support the organisation's Clinical Accelerator Programme, boost clinical research for dementia across the UK and accelerate progress towards a cure for the disease, according to the organizers of this particular raffle.
The house is located at the foot of the Serra de Tramuntana, in Puig de sa Creu, between Selva and Caimari. It has four rooms, four bedrooms, a swimming pool, a petanque court and a garden with an outdoor dining room, as well as various terraces, with an area of more than 1,500 meters. The property is valued at three million euros and the promoters of the idea detail that it can be rented for an estimated price of about 3,500 euros per month.
