Amazing: Dog owner has to fake an Irish accent to get him to obey his commands

It is not easy for our pet to listen to us. We can try it in many ways: based on repetitions, teaching him a keyword or using a prize in between. If none of this works, sometimes there is no choice but to get angry with the animal. However, nothing worked for Jay Shore and Megan King, until they realized they had to fake an Irish accent to get their dog to listen to them.

This couple brought Paddy, a Rottweiler pup, from Northern Ireland in December last year. The six-month-old dog had spent the first few months of his life in Megan's hometown of Armagh, where his parents cared for him. Now, the three live in Merseyside, a county in the United Kingdom.

The thing is, Paddy wasn't obeying any orders. This couple did not understand what was the reason, until they fell in the same way, the dog could only follow orders when spoken to with a Northern Irish accent, since Megan's parents had taught him the basic commands there.

They did the test and it was. Earlier this week, the pair uploaded a video on TikTok of Jay trying to get Paddy to sit in his normal voice. The dog did not obey. So, they tried putting on an accent similar to Megan's father.

The puppy, puzzled by the voice, attended to what was being indicated in the second version. Jay asked him to give him his paw. So it was. “When your pup only responds to a Northern Irish brogue accent but your partner is English…” Megan wrote in the video description.

The clip has accumulated more than 700,000 "likes" in recent days and has aroused the curiosity of other users. “Only speaks Northern Irish!” one wrote in the comments. "It made my morning happy," said another. Others have been unable to stop expressing their disbelief: “This is unreal. I've seen it like six times."
