Almost 1,000 euros in account, but what worries this influencer the most is the price of water

It is increasingly common for diners to pay inordinate amounts for dishes with fancy names and artistic presentations. However, the line between a price justified by the quality and experience and what many consider a robbery is sometimes blurred.

The gastronomic influencer Pablo Cabezali has ignited the networks by publishing a ticket that shows the cost of the water he ordered in an establishment in Ibiza: 10 euros. And although the figure may seem high to many, the total bill and what it actually consumed has caused even more stir among users.

Cabezali, who has gained recognition in the digital sphere for his reviews and opinions on restaurants, shared on his Twitter account the breakdown of his time at Jondal Restaurant. With a total amounting to the not insignificant figure of 926 euros, what caught Cabezali's attention, apparently, was the price of water. "Watch out for €10!" The influencer complained, showing his astonishment.

Taking a closer look at the account, one might think that such complaints might take a backseat. And it is that among the dishes chosen by Cabezali were delicacies with a fairly high price. For example, a black forest, a combination of wagyu steak tartare and caviar with a price of 260 euros. If that's not enough, he also ordered a smoked salmon, caviar and lobster trikini, costing €135.

However, the reaction in the networks was not exactly what the influencer perhaps expected. While some users shared their astonishment at the price of water, others took it with a touch of irony and sarcasm. "Are you complaining or are you flaunting your wealth?" commented one Twitter user, in an obviously mocking tone.

Another user was more direct when pointing out the hypocrisy of the comment: "There is no right to tantrum. Eating on an August day in Ibiza based on things with caviar, prawns, clams... It is evident that money is not a problem for you ( I'm glad), so don't complain, less hypocrisy".
