The Health Department of the Basque Government has warned of the possible presence of plastic fragments in frozen mushroom croquettes from the Bonpreu, Alteza and Eroski brands.
Therefore, people who have these products at home are recommended to refrain from consuming them while the manufacturing company is proceeding to withdraw the product from the market and has notified all its customers.
As announced by the Basque Department of Safety, the Spanish Agency for Food Safety and Nutrition (AESAN) has communicated, through the Coordinated System for Rapid Exchange of Information (SCIRI), an alert for the possible presence of plastic fragments in croquettes. of frozen mushrooms from the Bonpreu, Alteza and Eroski brands.
According to the information available, the products have been distributed in Catalonia, Andalusia, Castilla-La Mancha, Castilla y León, La Rioja, Madrid and the Basque Country.
This information has been transferred to the competent authorities of the autonomous communities through the Coordinated System for Rapid Information Exchange (SCIRI) in order to verify the withdrawal of the affected products from marketing channels.
The first of the products in which the possible presence of plastic fragments has been detected corresponds to the 350 gram bag of Bonpreu ceps croquettes; Lots: 40111 (best before date Dec-25), 31122 (best before date Oct-25), and 40124 (best before date Dec-25).
The second product is Alteza's boletus edulis mushroom croquettes; Lot: 31108 (Best before date: April 25) and the last one would be the Eroski boletus edulis croquettes; Lots: 30610 (best before date Nov-24) and 31122 (best before date April-25).
