A woman achieves millions of views by narrating 'live' the fall of a palm tree

The strong storm that has stalked different parts of Spain in recent hours has reached Seville, where the intense rains and imposing gusts of wind have generated one of the most viral clips of the week.

A video whose views number in the millions, not only because of the spectacular nature of the images, but also because of the tremendous "live" narration of a neighbor from Pina Montano when she saw how a palm tree was about to give way due to the adverse weather conditions.

The narration. Halfway between a football broadcast and a tone worthy of a tombola carnival, the woman perfectly captures the moment in which the palm tree tilts visibly due to the power of the wind.

The fall. "Look, look. Why is the palm tree falling?" She repeats herself a couple of times. The narrator also does not lose sight of the leaves of the tree that are about to sneak into her bedroom or the difficulties of a man who tries to open the umbrella in the middle of a storm without much success: "Why do you open it here? With the wind what he's doing," he reproaches him.

Immediately afterwards, the woman witnesses the fall of the plant: "The palm tree has fallen, gentlemen! I was saying it. The palm tree has fallen. Live. Well, there is no palm tree anymore. Come on," she says repeatedly. while recording the plant on the ground on Espartero Street.

In numbers. The video has been published by Twitter user @SoyRafaCastro and already has nearly 4 million views at the time of writing these lines, in addition to 23,000 likes, 7,500 retweets and 1,800 comments. Among which, responses such as that of journalist Jordi Évole stand out.
