A 49-year-old Civil Guard from the Traffic Group died this Saturday afternoon, around 5:40 p.m., after being run over by a vehicle that had previously been stolen in Pravia, sources from the Delegation have informed Europa Press of government. The event occurred on the AS-236, at kilometer point 8.
The deceased agent was using the official motorcycle and providing protection service in the Santiago Santana cycling sport event, in the town of Grado. The deceased would have collided with a stolen vehicle that broke into the device.
Through the official Twitter account, the Government delegate, Delia Losa, expressed her condolences for what happened. "Terrible and unjust death of the civil guard Dámaso, from the Traffic Group, when he was serving, as the Civil Guard always does, protecting and serving the Spanish. My deepest condolences to his family, his colleagues and the Benemérito Body", transferred Losa.
