It was 9 in the morning when a 17-year-old boy called 091 asking for help. He had found his six-year-old brother dead in a room of the house along with his mother, who had cuts on her hands and was in very serious condition. Although the Police are investigating the facts and keeping all hypotheses open, everything indicates that it is a suicide attempt. The woman would have killed her young son before trying to take her own life.
The dramatic event took place in the Jaen neighborhood of La Merced, where the emergency services went and were unable to do anything to save the little boy. The mother, 30, has been transferred to a health center in the city.
