A round at dawn in Palamós

Today I captured for La Vanguardia Readers' Photos the sunrise on the coastal path from Palamós to Castell, in the Baix Empordà region, where you can observe the changes in the cloudiness over the sea and in the color of the sky.

The route between Platja de la Fosca and Platja del Castell covers approximately 6 km round trip, 50 minutes one way and as many minutes returning.

The GR92 coastal path from Palamós, passing through several beaches and coves to Castell beach, is a simple itinerary, following the white markings.

The coastal path is an attractive walk through which we can travel around the Costa Brava and its beaches. In recent years, renovations have been made, making it a real tourist route.

It is called this way because this route was used by Civil Guard agents to control the Spanish maritime border and prevent smuggling. That is, they made the rounds this way.
