A 48-year-old man from El Vendrell has died in a traffic accident on the C-32 near Cubelles (Garraf), as reported by the Catalan Traffic Service (SCT).
The Mossos d'Esquadra have received the notice at 05:35 this Thursday. The accident occurred at kilometer 15.8, in the Barcelona direction, when a motorcycle and two vans were involved in an accident. The cause would presumably be the irruption of a wild boar on the road.
As a consequence of this fact, the driver of the motorcycle has died. To this point, two Catalan police patrols, two Fire Departments, and four units of the Emergency Medical System (SEM) have been deployed.
The event has made it necessary to cut the C-32 in Cubelles in the Barcelona direction and detours have been made through a service area. Around half past eight in the morning the situation has returned to normal.
