A 22-year-old motorcyclist and a 70-year-old woman whom he ran over died this afternoon on Duquesa de Parcent Street, in the Madrid district of Latina.
Emergencies Madrid reports that a notice to the coordinating center alerted of the accident around 7:30 p.m.
Upon arrival, SAMUR-Civil Protection assistance finds the woman and the driver of the large-displacement motorcycle, both in cardiorespiratory arrest and with severe head injuries.
After 30 minutes of resuscitation maneuvers, assistance confirms the death of both. A psychologist from SAMUR-Civil Protection has assisted relatives of the victims.
The Madrid Police carry out the report and investigate under what circumstances the accident occurred.
Duquesa de Parcent Street has been closed during the work of the emergency teams, adds Emergencies Madrid.
