A minor, 17 years old, has been injured with a cut on his hand during an attempted robbery that occurred this Monday at the doors of a school in San Blas.

Specifically, the events were recorded around 2:45 p.m. at number 3 Avenida Veinticinco de Septiembre, as sources from the Madrid Police Headquarters have informed Europa Press.

A call received at the Intelligent Command, Communication and Control Center (CIMAC) of the National Police warned of an attempted robbery at that point. According to the facts mentioned, several boys have threatened the minor with a knife with the intention of robbing him.

The victim has managed to flee from his attackers and take refuge in a nearby school. Samur-Civil Protection paramedics attended the scene and treated the boy, who had injuries to his hand.

Specifically, he had a cut on his left hand that affected four fingers, affecting two tendons. After receiving assistance at the scene, he was transferred to the Ramón y Cajal Hospital, where he has been admitted with a less serious prognosis, according to Madrid Emergency sources.

The IES Marqués de Suánzes and the CEIP of the same name are located in the area. At the time of the events, around three in the afternoon, there were many young people leaving their classes. Several testimonies from boys between the ages of 19 and 20 have told the Police what happened.

At the moment no arrests have been recorded and the National Police is analyzing the testimonies of eyewitnesses. The main hypothesis being worked on points to an attempted robbery.
