A man died last Monday around 8 p.m. after being trapped under a tractor with which he was trying to uproot a palm tree on a farm in the Tarragona city of Ulldecona.
The victim, according to Diari de Tarragona, is a 48-year-old man, of Romanian nationality and a resident of Ulldecona.
As confirmed by Mossos d'Esquadra sources to Europa Press, the man, who was a friend of the owner of the property, tried to uproot a palm tree with the help of a rope tied to a tractor, but the vehicle began to rise. from the front and finally overturned on top of the man.
After receiving the warning, several units of the Mossos and the Fire Department of the Generalitat moved to the place, as well as the Medical Emergency System (SEM), which certified the accidental death.
