A man was arrested in Santiago as the alleged perpetrator of an attack on his partner, whom he allegedly attacked with a knife. According to sources familiar with the event, the events occurred at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday on Salgueiriños de Abaixo Street.
Thus, both people, over 60 years old, were on the street when the police officers arrived. The woman had injuries to her face and arms and the man was carrying a knife.
The victim did not have to be transferred to the hospital and was treated at the scene by health services. For his part, the man was arrested. The events are being investigated by the National Police.
