Agents of the National Police have arrested a 23-year-old man of Paraguayan origin in Valencia, as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of sexual assault on a minor that occurred last night in San Juan on the Malvarrosa beach.
The investigation began after the agents learned of said attack, when the victim appeared at the post of the Office of Complaints and Attention to Women (ODAM) set up on the night of San Juan on said beach.
Subsequently, the Family and Women's Unity group (UFAM) took over the investigation. The National Police explains that "after a series of arduous investigative work" to identify the alleged perpetrator, it has been possible to arrest him for the crime of sexual assault.
The arrested man, without previous criminal record, has gone to court.
