The roof of an attic has collapsed this Monday afternoon in a block of flats in Badalona (Barcelona) and has forced the eviction of all the residents of the property, as reported by the Generalitat Fire Department.
It is about 16 people - 8 families - who occupied the six houses and the ground floor, who have been referred to the Badalona Social Emergencies and Emergencies Center, explained the third deputy mayor, David Torrents.
The event occurred around 6:00 p.m. at number 35 Mozart Street. The roof of the building has given way and has sunk into the upper story of the building. There have been no injuries.
Four crews of the Fire Department have moved to the place, have propped up the building and have checked the adjacent buildings.
