Three minors are being investigated and their actions are being analyzed by the Prosecutor's Office as alleged perpetrators of bomb threats in three institutes in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat (Barcelona) to respond to a viral challenge on social networks.

The Mossos have reported this Saturday in a statement that the three minors are identified as alleged perpetrators of a crime against public order.

The minors made a call to the 112 emergency telephone number and two to as many secondary schools in the municipality to say that they had planted a bomb inside, forcing Mossos agents to go to the institutes and inspect them to make sure they were safe. that it was a false threat.

The investigation into this case, the police say, began in May when it became known that, within a few days of each other, the calls of false bomb threats had been made.

The agents managed to identify the authors of the calls, made to respond to a challenge launched on social networks, and made the proceedings available to the Juvenile Prosecutor's Office.

The Mossos recall that these calls of false threats can constitute a crime against public order typified in the Penal Code, which establishes a prison sentence of three months and one day to one year or fines.
