An essential part of Instagram is being able to share content with other people. Therefore, this social network has different ways for us to integrate our contacts in our publications. The most basic way has always been the ability to tag or mention other users in our profile photos and videos, as well as in stories. It has also been a while since the app introduced the possibility of “reposting” a story in which you have been mentioned, as well as sharing other people's publications in your stories.
But, in addition to this, Instagram went one step further and gave rise to collaborative publications and stories, a functionality called “Instagram Collabs”. This option is characterized by a publication appearing created and published by two or more authors, so that the photograph, carousel or reel appears on the profile of all designated users and shares views, comments and likes. In the case of stories, it allows a story in which you have been tagged to appear in full screen, instead of the small window that was generated until now when sharing a story in which you have been mentioned.
