Verstappen, investigated for having infringed three traffic rules

There is no one to cough up for Max Verstappen in the Formula 1 World Cup, current champion and undisputed leader this year, but off the tracks he could have gotten into trouble with the police. The Dutch driver was seen in a video on social networks aboard his luxurious Aston Martin Valkyrie on a Monaco highway and, according to Nice-Matin, he would have violated various traffic rules.

Continuing with the information from the French media, Verstappen would be being investigated by the French authorities for having skipped three rules, as can be seen in the images, of just 19 seconds, published in an Instagram story by his friend and personal trainer, Mark Cox.

Due to the powerful sound emitted by the 1,155-horsepower Aston Martin engine, Mad Max appears in the video wearing helmets, something that is prohibited when driving. The second punishable action is to remain continuously in the left lane. Lastly, the Dutchman is traveling at 124 km/h when the maximum speed in that area, especially in the tunnel that he goes through, is 90 km/h.

Oblivious to a possible sanction, Verstappen is focused on the Formula 1 Grand Prix that takes place this coming weekend at his home, at the Zandvoort circuit in the Netherlands. The Dutchman could claim a ninth consecutive win this season, equaling Sebastian Vettel's record set in 2013.
