The most valuable shirts in the world: Real Madrid and Barça lead the ranking

Real Madrid and Barça lead the ranking of the most valuable jerseys in the world, based on the income they receive from their official sponsor and the brand that manufactures the kits. The white team heads this classification, as it collects 190 million euros per season, while the Catalan team obtains 175 million euros.

The Champions League semi-finalist earns 120 million euros each year from Adidas and 70 from its main sponsor, Emirates, which represents profits of 190 million euros, according to a study by the Football Benchmark portal.

For its part, Barça, despite not being satisfied with the financial agreement with Nike, collects 175 million euros, of which 105 come from the American brand. The remaining 70 million euros come from Spotify, main sponsor of the Catalan team since March 2022.

These data do not take into account the sponsors that the clubs wear on the sleeves of their shirts. Real Madrid recently announced its relationship with HP. In their case, the Barça team has been collaborating with TP Vision for more than a year at a rate of ten million per season. The study also does not count the total number of t-shirts sold. To purchase the club's official kit, Barça fans have to pay 185 euros and Real Madrid fans 195 euros.

The 'Top 5' of the ranking is closed by PSG and two English teams, Arsenal and Manchester United. The Parisian team raises 80 million euros from Nike and 66 million from Qatar, adding a total of 146 million euros per season. Arsenal obtains the same loot as Luis Enrique's team, since it receives 88 million euros from Adidas and 58 from Emirates. For its part, Manchester United receives 143 million euros, 88 from Adidas and 55 from Team Viewer.
