The drama of Espanyol and Cornellá's protest goodbye

Espanyol's relegation to the Second Division, confirmed last week with arbitration controversy included, has caused pain, anger and impotence, but also enormous anger. The entity has decided to go to sports justice to claim several controversial decisions.

In the last game of the season against Almería, where salvation is at stake in Cornellà, different social classes have called on the fans to go to the field in black and protest these episodes. It is also not ruled out that the players join the proposal.

Meanwhile, the coach Luis García claims to compete to honor the profession and say goodbye to the First Division with a win and warns that the entity has “financial and economic muscle to compete in the Second Division with the same squad. This is not a market with sale products. We are not going to allow it. We are going to give value to our footballers”, assured the coach.

Several footballers could play their last game in the blue and white shirt, such as Joselu –who has been linked to Real Madrid–, Denis Suárez, Adrià Pedrosa and Aleix Vidal, who are out of contract.
