King Felipe VI and the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, as well as numerous politicians and public figures, have congratulated the Spanish soccer team that has been proclaimed soccer world champion this Sunday in Sydney. For his part, the leader of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, stated: "World champions! The World Cup is for our women's soccer team, a final that we will never forget where we were and how we experienced it. You have made a championship of improvement and triumph. Congratulations and thank you very much for exciting all of Spain!".

Some congratulations to which the president of the Congress, Francina Armengol, has also joined, who has said: "What a great joy! You are already eternal. The first star comes home!
