FC Barcelona begins to give up Ousmane Dembélé, tempted for several days by PSG. The Parisian club sent a formal letter to Barcelona yesterday to be able to negotiate with the player. Barcelona has remarked to PSG that the footballer is non-transferable and they refer to the clause that until July 31 is 50 million. Later it will be 100 million, a very manageable figure for the whole of Paris.
Dembélé has a renewal proposal on the table until 2027 in which the player receives more salary than the current one. However, for the agents it is not enough and they have responded with a counterproposal in which they demand to enter between 6 and 7 million euros more between fixed and variable concepts. Barcelona will not move from its position. They consider that offering more money would be irresponsible considering the complicated financial situation of the club.
Dembélé has been pampered. The winger has spoken in the last few hours with Mateu Alemany, director of football. Also with the coach Xavi Hernández. Both have tried to convince him and it is expected that today they will also continue talking with President Joan Laporta. Dembélé knows that for Xavi he is an essential footballer but he did not have the same feeling on the part of the sports management.
