Valtònyc arrives in Mallorca after five years in exile: "It was worth it"

"It was worth it". The Mallorcan rapper Josep Miquel Arenas, Valtònyc, returned to Mallorca yesterday after five years in exile in Brussels, as he had been convicted for the lyrics of his songs for the crimes of glorifying terrorism, insulting the Crown and humiliation to the victims. The Majorcan rapper was received at the airport by fifty people, including his family members. "The past is something to learn from, not to regret. I've probably made a lot of mistakes, but today I have friends and a family that appreciates me and looks at me with pride," he said.

Valtònyc has a pending trial and will go there, as he has always done, both in Spain and Belgium. When he arrived in Mallorca he regretted that his return is due to the fact that the five-year sentence has expired, and not to the recognition of the authorities for having made a mistake.
