‘Trick or treat’: votar o vacances

And suddenly the end of the world came: the face that Àngels Barceló made when he found out about the electoral advance is the same as that of those who traditionally take holidays in July, because August is overcrowded and such. They will see how in the coming summers there are slaps to change the shifts. In the meantime, from here we ask Twitter, so attentive to everything, to stop including advertisements for beaches and ladies in bikinis (gentlemen too) among the tweets of those who are thinking about the possibilities of being touched by a polling station. It's already bad drool.

Once the initial scare has passed, the networks have become obsessed with the date. Rosa Villacastín wonders why there is so much fuss: "If the economy was so bad a few days ago (...), how is it possible that so many citizens had reserved hotels, planes, trains, to spend a magnificent vacation". BartO answers (among others): "Most of the currelas go to grandma's house in the village or we rent a shabby apartment a kilometer from the beach".

Cheers, that only 545,283 people out of a possible 31,500,000 will call to mass; if you start making calculations, take into account that there are variables, such as the place of residence (by the number of inhabitants), etc.

The conversation continues and it is very easy to deduce which block each one belongs to. AskeRosaQuintana quips: "With Franco you could go on vacation calmly, knowing that you wouldn't be summoned to a polling station." Carol Guerrero quotes Ramón Tamames: "It is a personal revenge of Pedro Sánchez and distorts the lives of millions of Spaniards who would have to be on vacation".

Ladies and gentlemen, you see, things are going strong, and it has just begun, as you say. But there is also one for all audiences: with your heart in your hand, answer La Puta Llama's question (sorry, it's called that): "What do you prefer, to be at a polling station or on holidays with the family and the brother-in-law?”.

Of course there is voting by mail, but the issue is also strong, some talk about a lack of guarantees, others about a lack of desire... The only ones who talk about what they need to talk about are the CSIF of Correos: with the advance, more than a quarter of the staff will be on vacation: "We need 10,000 reinforcement contracts".

Perhaps the best tweet that has been made in this regard is that of Fiorella Faltoyano: "Me voy de vacaciones de Twitter hasta el 23 de July". Some will extend them, those of Twitter.
