This has been the demonstration against the amnesty

Some 80,000 people, according to updated data from the Government Delegation, gathered this Sunday at the Puerta del Sol in Madrid and surrounding areas to protest against the "absolute session" of the acting President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, to the independentists after the agreement between the PSOE and Junts that includes the amnesty.

The attendees, including many families, have cried out against Sánchez, to whom they have chanted "to prison", as has happened with the former president of the Generalitat and Junts MEP, Carles Puigdemont. "Sánchez and Puigdemont to prison," they shouted.

The attendees, which the PP has estimated at 500,000, have carried signs that read 'Spanish outcry, Sánchez resigns', 'Spain on its feet', 'Spain is sold', 'Amnesty no' or 'Democracy in Spain' is at risk'.

This has been the central demonstration of all those called by the PP in the 52 provincial capitals of Spain. In all the meetings, the formation has read a manifesto in which it has asked "not to kneel" before the independence movement and to "fight the battle" in a "peaceful, civic and legitimate" way.
