The PP reveals that the association of abused men has already been authorized by Marlaska in 2022

The Valencian PP has revealed today that the controversial Association for the Defense of Battered Men (based in Alboraia) was registered in the National Registry of Associations (RNA), a public body dependent on the Ministry of the Interior, on August 23, 2022, according to It appears on the Ministry's own website.

The PP ombudsman, Miguel Barrachina, has reminded the socialists that “this association has been registered in the Ministry of the Interior since 2022 and during all this time we have not heard anyone protest and Minister Marlaska has remained silent.” Furthermore, the popular spokesperson in Les Corts added that "there are seven more entities registered in the Ministry's registry and we did not hear the members of the Sánchez Government insult Minister Marlaska."

The knowledge of the registration in the Registry of Foundations of the Valencian Community of the entity called "Foundation of the Valencian Community for the Defense of Battered Men" yesterday generated all kinds of criticism from the opposition.

In this sense, sources from the Generalitat Valenciana explain to La Vanguardia that it was not them but the Ministry of the Interior that first authorized the registration and legal authorization of said association. In line with the PP, they highlight that, in the File of Names of Associations of the Ministry of the Interior, you can find up to seven other associations or entities of a similar nature, object and purpose, registered, registered and authorized also by the Interior in the Canary Islands, Castilla and León, Madrid or Seville.

Faced with this situation, the second vice president of the government and Minister of Equality, Susana Camarero, has regretted that the Minister of Equality, Ana Delgado, the Government delegate, Pilar Bernabé, and the Socialist Party, “are once again making a fool of themselves.” In this sense, she has criticized that the Executive is dedicated to opposing the Generalitat Valenciana instead of working to solve the problems of Valencian and Spanish citizens. “In the face of this national ridicule, let's hope that they accept their mistake, ask for forgiveness and start working for what really matters,” claimed the number three of the Consell.
