The Unides Podem candidate for the Presidency of the Generalitat and acting second vice president of the Consell, Héctor Illueca, will leave the first political line after the disastrous result of the regional and municipal elections on May 28, which left UP far from entering the Les Corts Valencianes and outside the vast majority of town halls.
The Illueca march, announced by the newspaper Levante-EMV, is known hours after the coordinator of Podem in the Valencian Community and candidate for Mayor of Valencia, Pilar Lima, also announced her resignation as leader of the purple formation.
