That Míriam Nogueras can continue to be the spokesperson for Junts in Madrid is painful but understandable (independence is the great social elevator in Catalonia for the less talented). The drama is Barcelona. Will its potential mayor, Xavier Trias, resist the events of Waterloo, incompatible with looking forward and the spirit of his conciliatory campaign?
The Giró anecdote does not invite optimism, a state of mind that suits Barcelona so well. Xavier Trias distanced himself from Waterloo in the campaign. And of the stars or the yellow ribbons.
