PP and Vox seek a programmatic agreement in Aragon before negotiating the investiture

The leader of the Aragonese PP and candidate for the presidency of the community, Jorge Azcón, intends to reach a programmatic agreement and for the formation of the Table of the Cortes with Vox as a step prior to the negotiation of his investiture to govern alone. However, the ultra formation insists on asserting his votes and entering the Government of Aragon.

During his first face-to-face after the 28-M elections, Azcón offered his counterpart, Alejandro Nolasco, that his formation occupy the First Secretariat of the Table that will be established on June 23, since the Vox leader crossed out of "insufficient": they want the Presidency or, at least, the Vice-Presidency.

In addition, as he did before and after the electoral campaign, Azcón insisted on his commitment to a solo government, although he is six deputies from the absolute majority.

For his part, Nolasco has made it very clear today that his intention is to assert his "relevant position" as a third force (seven legislators) that would give the PP an absolute majority and that, therefore, he wants to be part of the regional Executive.

“Our result has been relevant, and therefore it is true that we are a government party. If we entered some ministries or had government responsibilities, we would apply our own policies under our supervision,” argued Nolasco.

In any case, both showed their agreement on various issues to try to reach that programmatic pact, which would include tax cuts, healthcare and waiting lists, investments in roads or the centrality that birth or favor policies should have. of the family.

These and other issues appeared in a document that Nolasco delivered to Azcón today at the Aljafería Palace, which he hopes he will read "carefully" and accept to a large extent.

In addition, both agreed to "park" for now their programmatic discrepancies, which they did not clarify, and did not want to talk about "red lines" in order to move forward before addressing the investiture agreements that may occur. "If we are able to reach an agreement on the program and the Courts, we will talk about the investiture, without prejudging what may happen," Azcón said.
